| PET, polyethylene terephtalate (PET-P) |
View Material Data |
| These partially crystalline polyesters of terephtalic acid (PET x=2, PBT x=4) are very hard, stiff and tough, even at low temperatures. The dimensional stability is excellent and they are very creep resistant. Differing from PC, PET has good tribological properties, with low friction and high wear resistance. It is available unreinforced in natural and black colours PET natural and PET black, and lubricated with PTFE, PET TX, which is an excellent and cost effective alternative for many bearing |
