View Material Data |

|
| Copolymerisation of tetrafluoroethylene with minor amounts of perfluoroalkylvinyl ether produces a melt-processable material with melting point around 305 C and density 2,1-2,2 g/cm3. Continuous service temperature is 260 C, higher than that of FEP. PFA aslo has better mechanical properties than FEP, especially at elevated temperatures. The chemical resistance is as excellent as that of PTFE. Permeability to vapour and gases is high. |
