| Copolymarisation of tetrafluoroethylene with ethylene, usually in a 1 to 1 ratio, renders a tough material with a reduction of thermal and mechanical properties. The melting point is ca 265 C, continuous service temperature ca 150 C, and the density as low as 1,75 g/cm3. ETFE has significantly lower oxygen index than other fluoroplastics. |
