Nordbergs Tekniska AB is since the start in 1970 a distributor of semi-finished engineering plastics. We are a family business, located in Stockholm, Sweden. Our primary markets are the Swedish and Nordic industry, but we also export to customers in Europe, north and south America and southeast Asia. Important industrial sectors are telecom, medical technology and mechatronics, but also to research and development units at companies and universities, armaments industry and automotive and aeronautic industries.
We believe the distributor has an important role to play, to provide qualified technical assistance and maintaining a full inventory of high-tech materials to the industry. Our business philosophy is simple; to deliver the best quality and service possible.
Our semi-finished stock-shapes are taken from the premier processors in Europe and the US. The high quality and technical proficiency of our suppliers has ensured relations of long standing. We are members of the IAPD, International Association of Plastics Distributors.
Our inventory spans the entire width of engineering plastics, but with an emphasis on high-performance materials, or materials with very specific properties. We believe our delivery program is unique, and we have the materials on the shelf. A number of special qualities outside the standard delivery program can also be delivered, materials with specific modifications or classifications. We will often find that odd material through our rather vast supply net. Many of the materials can be delivered with certificates.
Good service means quick deliveries; most of our orders are dispatched within a day, and there is generally no minimum order quantity.
We are more than happy to participate in the early stages of development projects, helping the customer to specify the correct material for the application, as well as determining the proper maching and processing approach. Our sales people are engineers with long experience in engineering plastics. We can supply machined details, and we can also help a customer with prototype runs of compression moulded shapes and injection moulded details and tools.
